Have a look at the frequently asked questions, below.
Registering for a course
You can purchase access to a course, either for yourself or for others.
If you are purchasing for others, they get sent their username/password on payment.
If you are purchasing for yourself, you create your password when ordering.
Taking a course
The Budgeting Academy courses are designed specifically for online learning, and this means plenty of interactive elements, like quizzes. These test your learning as you go.
You can spend as long as you wish on the course, and some courses are longer than others.
You can come back to the course as often as you wish. Your progress is automatically saved.
Getting a course recognised as ongoing training
Some Budgeting Academy courses are recognised by the NZFFBS as ongoing training, some are not.
They are each clearly listed before you purchase access.
For those courses that are recognised as ongoing training, we are automatically sent an email when you complete the course. We will then post you a certificate. This means that you don’t need to do anything except complete the course, for it to be recognised as ongoing training.
Some courses are free, and some come with a cost – these too are listed clearly.
Questions for tutors
Some courses have an assigned tutor, some haven’t. If your course has an assigned tutor, they will be identified during the course.
If you need to contact someone other than the tutor about the course content, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All technical questions about using the Budgeting Academy can be emailed to email@example.com.
